Senior Copywriter

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 3+ years of copywriting specifically for e-commerce emails (campaigns & flows)
  • Excellent command of grammar and persuasive writing techniques

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, engaging copy for email campaigns and automated flows (welcome series, cart-abandon, post-purchase, re-engagement)
  • Craft scroll-stopping subject lines, preview text, headers, and CTAs that boost opens and clicks
  • Write engaging copy for ad creatives
  • Partner with designer to ensure copy and visuals work in harmony
  • Develop and execute A/B tests on copy elements to optimize open rate, click-through, and conversion
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all client emails
  • Stay ahead of e-commerce trends, email best practices, and deliverability guidelines

 

Preferred Profile:

  • Exceptional storytelling skills and a knack for translating product benefits into customer-focused messages
  • Proven ability to adapt tone and voice across different brands and niches
  • Comfortable working in an ESP (Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp, etc.) and using templates to streamline your workflow
  • Basic familiarity with open-rate and click-through metrics to inform your copy decisions – no deep analytics required
  • Fast learner who welcomes feedback, iterates quickly, and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven agency setting
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for staying on top of e-commerce and email marketing trends
